Could you explain more about your product?

I have a Mobile App which is useful for parents to get in touch with their children’s school staff and management. Parents can track daily activities, reports etc.

Hello Raja,
Thank you for explaining further about your product. The best way I believe is to approach schools to adopt your mobile app in their school system. Here’re the steps you might need to take.

  1. Get teachers/parents to test your app. If you have not done so. And get their feedback. If they like it, ask them to introduce you to their school principal. You could start by getting to know teachers/parents via teachers/parents associations or from your networks.
  2. Offer them a pilot project at no cost to them or to students/parents. Start with lesser schools since they are easier to work with and has “less” regard for their reputations. Larger schools tend to be more bureaucratic and difficult to penetrate and they also are more concern about their “branding”. You’ll most probably need to do some customization on your app to suit the school.
  3. Get feedback during the pilot project and continue to improve your product. Remember, its a pilot project and you have all the reasons to make it a successful one. If you succeeded, you could use this school and the project as part of your portfolio and testimonial.
  4. Sell the solution to the next school after the pilot project. You could even start charging the first school after a period of time but your terms to them should be more favorable than to others (remember they were kind enough to be willing to be your testers, your guinea pigs).

Once you reached step #4, it should be more smooth sailing from there onwards. Remember, for B2B market, you must always prove your worthiness to your clients.
